Meizu E3 officially launched in China
Today it finally came to pass! The long awaited Meizu E3 officially launched in China. The smartphone comes in three colours: Black, Champagne Gold and Blue.
The Meizu E3 features a 5.99-inch Full HD+ display 2160 x 1080 p in 18:9 aspect ratio. The display will be covered by a 2.5D curved glass . As I predicted earlier Meizu E3 is powered by 1.8GHz Octa-Core Snapdragon 636 processor. The GPU is provided by the Adreno 509 which won’t dissappoint the gamers. There is just no doubt, the design of the Meizu E3 is thought through and simply stunning.
The latest Meizu E3 comes with 6GB RAM and 64GB (or 128GB) internal storage which is expandable by a microSD. The smartphone runs the Flyme OS based on Android 7.1.2. In the battery departement Meizu took care of a 3360mAh battery with a 20W fast charging technology. It’s said to charge from 0 to 53% in only 30 minutes. The fact that the E3 uses a USB-C port makes charging a lot more comfy. Great!
The camera department of the Meizu E3 looks interesting too. It harbours a dual rear camera. A 12 megapixel primary camera by Sony (IMX362, f/1.9 aperture) and a 20 megapixel secondary camera (Sony IMX350 sensor, f/2.6 aperture). The selfie shooter on the front has an 8 megapixel (f/2.0 aperture) sensor. The smartphone measures 156.8 x 75 x 7.6 mm and weighs 160 grams. That will feel premium but not too heavy. I like that.
Unfortunately the Meizu E3 is made for the Chinese market only. So we in the rest of the world will have to wait for the Meizu 15 that is announced for the summer. So for now we will have to do with the gorgeous M6S. If you want to know or read more about the Meizu E3, you might want to visit Meizu’s own website.
