The New Umidigi One is ready for all international bands
Ever since the first render of the Umidigi One‘s backcover appeared, the rumours are spreading. The Umidigi seems to be a Z2 “lite-version”. Umidigi announced the Z2 flagship a while ago. Now it looks like the One could be the more interesting of the two devices. Why? The New Umidigi One is ready for all international bands! So this means the One will be Umidigi’s first device ready for the worldwide market. What else do we now about the Umidigi One?
Latest published renders show a notch on a huge screen (5.99″) and very small bezels. But they also reveal that Umidigi didn’t only take design cues from Apple’s iPhone X. Not unlike the latest Meizu’s (a company that was the “inspiration” for other Umi devices in the past) the Umidigi One sports a side mounted fingerprint scanner. There is little else we know about the Umidigi One for now, but we sure will keep you posted in the future.
For now I am focussing on the hands-on review of the latest Umidigi S2 Lite. And even though I was very critical about some Umidigi phones in the past, I’m very positive about this one. I have been using the S2 Lite for over a week as my daily driver and I have had no glitches nor any bugs so far. Also I succesfully dowloaded and executed and OTA Update, which have proven to be bottlenecks for Umidigi in the past. Without giving too much away, it could be this could easily the best device Umi/Umidigi has ever made! So maybe they ARE ready for a worldwide future?
