Ulefone will show off the T2 Pro at MWC: 18:9 Full Screen, Helio P70, Dual Camera
Ulefone has been making some interesting phones in the past. The Ulefone Gemini Pro showed the world that they could also build fast phones. So was the Ulefone Future. Although that seemed to be their last phone that actually was designed. The Gemini Pro was an iPhone7/One+/Umidigi Z Pro carbon copy. And we can’t help it, but their newly announced Ulefone T2 Pro looks slightly familiar. But the exiting news is that it’s going to be very fast. It will be equipped with the latest Helio P70 chipset! What’s even more exciting is that Ulefone will show off the T2 Pro at the MWC, The Mobile World Congress in Barcelona this coming week.
What about the Ulefone T2 Pro does Ulefone want us to know?
“Well, it’s a phone with an all-screen front, save for a small chin at the bottom. It will be the world’s first handset to be powered by the brand-new MediaTek Helio P70 – an octa-core SoC built on a 12 nm process, clocked at 2.5 GHz, and hitting benchmark scores right in Snapdragon 835’s back yard.”
Since there’s no sign of a fingerprint scanner anywhere on the T2 Pro, it can be suspected to have an in-screen fingerprint scanner, as we will see more and more. Seems the cat is out the bag. And it has a notch… again with the notch people? Why? Apple did it so it must be what the consumer wants? Well, this consumer could do gladly without. However, the Ulefone T2 Pro looks appealing there is no doubt about that.
Then we see a dual camera on the back. Now that makes me wonder. Will we be treated to a blurry circle around our pictures again? Or will we be able to actually shoot in portrait mode and create bokeh effects? We will see. Since we have no clue about the sensors used yet, it’s useless to speculate. As soon as we get new information we will gladly keep you up to date.
MWC 2018 will run from the 26th of February to March 1st, so it’s safe to say we will disclose more about the Ulefone T2 Pro’s specifications soon. You could also look on the Ulefone Website for more info!
